Hi, I am Rebecca Pratt.
I picked up my first camera when I was about 12-years-old and I've been hooked ever since. I participated in my local 4-H Photography Club for 6 years where I won numerous awards for my work. I had entries advance to state level competition at least 3 of those years. In college I took a B&W film class where I photographed and developed all of my images by hand. This process really helped me to deepen my understanding and appreciation for the art of photography. From the beginning I have wanted to make photography a part of my life. Until I began working as a second shooter with a well-known Louisville photographer, I didn’t think that having a career in photography would be possible. With the support and encouragement from friends and family, I started my own business in 2012.
I am continually honing my overall skills by taking online courses on various topics such as posing, editing and business. I am always excited to implement what I have learned and try new things each time I am behind the camera. I am striving to better myself in order to offer my clients the best product I can at the most reasonable prices available. I work to capture life through photos with natural lighting, candid moments, and authentic emotion.
In my spare time I enjoy going hiking, reading and riding horses. I love traveling for leisure with my family & friends not only to escape everyday life but to have the opportunity to capture nature's beauty through the camera lens.
